"It’s a real pleasure to write a few words on Kiwi Rigging and how Grant has helped bring Predator up to scratch over the past two years.
He has been instrumental in the improvement programme and his advice is always spot on.
Grant has: done a super rig tune to suit the new main; built from scratch a wicked ridged vang; aced the running backstay set up; and generally transformed/replaced all the systems on board.
Grant comes fully equipped with a heap of experience and beaut ideas. Always timely and working with him is really enjoyable.
All of these enhancements where tested to the max during the 2015 Coastal Classic, as we bashed and crashed our way North for 26 hours, with a top wind speed at Cape Brett of 48 knots.
The Predator crew certainly had full confidence in the standing and running rigging and never considered there would be an issue. We just kept on pushing the boat hard. For a 1st on line and handicap in Division 4. We were all exhausted but chuffed!"

"Grant
from Kiwi Rigging has been maintaining the rigging on Diablo for a
number of years now. As well as tuning the rig and supplying new runners
and lines, he's also repaired the furler unit and replaced the wind gear.
He
always does a great job; has always been to a high standard; is always
on the job in quick time; keeps me informed of what is happening, and I
couldn't be happier with his work.
I
highly recommend Kiwi Rigging - Grant's great to deal with and does a
quality job."

"I
owned Cool Change for more than two years, and considered quality
of rigging to be very important to the boat’s race performance and for
the safety of my crew.
I
always had great confidence in Grant’s work, and he was always on call
and quick to respond when something needed doing, especially in the
first season when I needed a lot of advice and help with all aspects of
the boat."

"Grant
does a superb job of keeping our Elliott 7.9, FX, in good order.
When I first bought the boat, he was able to modify many of the sailing
systems so that the boat is easier to sail - which is important as most
of my crew are female. FX is now a great boat to sail - and we've
won numerous race series!
I
wasn't always a racer: my first boat was a Raven 26 called Refund.
Grant helped me with the rigging work on that, too. The first job was
fitting a windex on the mast, and after that he improved the sailing
systems so that all the lines led aft to the cockpit. The old,
antiquated jammers were replaced with some lovely new Spinlock jammers,
and Grant also serviced the winches so that they no longer creaked!
I've
already recommended Kiwi Rigging to other boat owners: it's
great to have rigging work done at the same calibre as America's
Cup yachts at a price that's good value."

Luethi, co-owner and skipper of FX (Elliott 7.9).
